What are the dates for 2025?

Rodders Beach Festival will be back 24 - 26 Jan 2025 in Orewa, Auckland.
Where is Rodders Beach Festival held?

The Rodders Beach Festival is held on Orewa Reserve and Orewa Boulevard. On Saturday the main road is blocked off at the southern end of Hibiscus Coast Highway. On Sunday the main road is blocked off on the Orewa Boulevard for cars on display.
Is the festival free to attend?

Public walk-through entry is free, however a donation is much appreciated to help raise funds for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust. There are $10 event programmes for sale as a donation to ARHT. Vehicle entry is required for cars attending the beach festival. Tickets are for drivers only, passengers within the vehicle do not require a seperate ticket.
Where do I get my Friends of the Festival goodie bag?

Come to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust marquee.
Where can I buy merchandise?

Merchandise will be available at the event from the main merchandise marquee over our 3 day event. Stocks are limited.
Who can enter the VIP Marquee?

Only pre-registered Rodders entrants with VIP tickets can enter the VIP Marquee. We have a strict limit on numbers for catering services.
When is prizegiving?

Our prizegiving will be held on Sunday at 1.00pm
When is the live auction?

The live auction is an event you don't want to miss. We have some amazing donated items up for grabs! Help us raise funds for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust at 1.00pm on Saturday at the main stage at Orewa Reserve.
How do I get to the festival?

Rodders entry will be on the main road of Orewa and parking wardens will guide you in the right direction. Public parking is available on the side streets off the main road of Orewa.
Can I bring my pet to the event?

Yes, but dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Remember to bring some water for your dog as the day can get extremely hot!
When do the pre-registration tickets go on sale?

From 9am on the 1st of September 2024
How and when will I receive my pre-registration pack?

Your pre-registration pack will arrive in your letterbox with your 2024 show programme and car window sticker 1-2 weeks prior to the event. Please bring your printed ticket or have the email on your phone to present to gate staff.
How do I order my tickets?

You can pre-register for the January event right here online, the ordering process is easy.
What times do the gates open over the weekend?

Friday 26th – from 3.00pm Saturday 27th – from 8.00am Sunday 28th – from 8.00am
When can I leave the event on Saturday?

We request that NO cars leave the event before 3.30pm on Saturday. If in the event of an emergency you need to leave early, please get an EVENT OFFICIAL to escort you off the premises (for safety purposes).
Can I park next to my mate for the 'Show n Shine' on Sunday?

Yes, possibly. In order to be situated next to your friend you will need to arrive at the same time as spaces will be allocated based on order of entry into the allocated zones. We cannot guarantee anything due to limited parking spaces and sizes, but our friendly show committee will do their best for you!
What happens if a ribbon is placed on my car?

If you receive a ribbon on your windscreen by 3pm Saturday... you've won a prize! Please be at the prizegiving on Sunday to be awarded with your trophy.
Where do I get my V8 Chic goodie bag?

Come to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust marquee.
Who can enter the show? What is the criteria?

Anyone can enter if there car is American of pre 1972.
Does my car have to be road registered?

Yes!
Where do I get my goodie bag?

You will get your goodie bag as you drive through the gate on entry.

Can I enter the V8 Chic competition?

You must pre-register your hot rod or classic car before entering this competition. You must also be a driver of the entered vehicle and have the car at the event to be judged by NZ Petrolhead. V8 Chic applications for Rodders Beach Festival 2024 will open closer to the festival dates!
When can I enter the Miss Hibiscus Vintage competition?

Applications for the Miss Hibiscus Vintage 2024 will open later this year!
